Asta Azopardi is an animator and illustrator from Gibraltar. Her origins may be small, but her ideas are huge. With many ideas come many mediums. Though bright colours, saturated shapes, and round, bouncy things are her calling card. Escapism is the game.
The page isn’t big enough, so she likes to expand her drawings into sculptures, onto clothing, and into stickers. Essentially, Asta wants to take over the world one drawing at a time.
She’s inspired by the mundane and fascinated by making people focus on the small things by bringing them to life.
When she’s not creating, Asta can usually be found staring into space. Some may say she’s among the stars... or A(sta)r, perhaps...
